Compliance with conditions for the formation of the marriage or civil union
Before performing the solemnization, your officiant must ensure that you and your spouse meet all the requirements provided for by law.
To do so, the officiant may schedule a meeting with you in order to obtain all the information that must be verified.
Thus, prior to the ceremony, the officiant will verify:
- Your identity;
- Your age;
- Your civil status;
- Your family relationship (if applicable).
