Confirmation of the entering of a birth in the Québec Register of Civil Status

After registering your child's birth, you will receive a letter confirming his or her entry in the Québec Register of Civil Status.

When you receive this letter, you may order a certificate or a copy of the act of birth on the child's behalf.

If an error is found, contact us by phone promptly before ordering a certificate or a copy of the act.
